Edel Dunne moved to Coogee last December after living in Bondi for many years. She loves living so close to both Clovelly and Coogee beaches, especially when summer is on its way. Edel is originally from Ireland but first came to Australia in 1999 on a working holiday visa, before settling here in 2002. Edel is a beauty therapist, specialising in skin care, and she recently set up her own business in Bondi Junction. Edel shares her local favourites with The Beast…

Favourite Beach: My favourite beach is Nielsen Park. It’s very peaceful and I love that there are no waves.

Eatery: I have an addiction to sushi so it would have to be Sushi Train in Bondi Junction.

Watering Hole: I like to go to the Clovelly Hotel as it is within walking distance of my home.

Sporting Team: The Sydney Swans.

Music: The Script, U2 and Adele – she has an amazing voice.

Person: My beautiful mother in Ireland. She is very special.

Weekend Activity: I spend my weekend relaxing and socializing with friends. I enjoy a Sunday morning brekkie at Oneness Cafe in Coogee. I like going for walks and maybe to the beach if it’s not too hot for my pale Irish skin.

Quote: “Without passion you have nothing”.

Favourite Thing About Your Work: I like making people feel and look fabulous. Meeting lots of interesting people means that every day is different.

Final Word: Come and experience a world of total relaxation coupled with great skin care results. I use only the highest quality skin products such as Environ and Collin. Situated in the prestigious Hollywood Avenue, Bondi Junction, you can call me for an appointment on 0415 176 901 or visit www.edelsbeauty.com.au for more information.
