Eli Pikoulas has been living in Randwick for about a year and a half, but she has always lived in the Eastern Suburbs
since she migrated to Australia in 2001 with her Aussie husband, Alex. She is originally from Venezuela. “We went to live in London for two years in 2006 but I really missed Sydney and we returned to Australia in 2009,” Eli told The
Beast. Eli is a dentist at Centennial Smiles on Clovelly Road, Randwick. Eli shares her local faves with The Beast…

Favourite Beach: I love Bondi. It’s the first place I visited after arriving in Australia and it was love at first sight.

Eatery: North Bondi Italian. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is great and it has the best views of Bondi.

Watering Hole: The Rum Diaries on Bondi Road because they stock Venezuelan rum.

Sporting Team: My four year-old boy’s soccer team.

Music: Anything with a latin beat. But my favourite South American music is salsa.

Person: My two kids. They inspire me to be a much betterperson every day.

Weekend Activity: Taking the kids to sport, the zoo and the aquarium. When we put them to bed I get to go out with
friends and spend quality time with my hubby. On a quiet night in we grab takeaway, open a bottle of vino and watch a movie.

Quote: “Words can’t say what love can do.”

Favourite Thing About Your Work: As a dentist I get to spend time with a lot of different people and hear about their
lives and share my own experiences with them. I love doing my job and it’s rewarding to put a smile on people’s faces.

Final Word: If you are one of those people who is scared of the dentist I would like to offer you the opportunity of having a great dental experience at Centennial Smiles.
