Video Of The Week – Japanese Binocular Soccer

It’s been all doom and gloom in the media lately when it comes to Japan.

And while we don’t want to trivialise a truly catastrophic situation, we know that despite what they’re going through they will always have one thing on their side – a world class sense of humour.

We’re talking about a country that overcame not one, but two nuclear attacks. Here’s hoping that in the aftermath of the Japanese earthquake and subsequent tsunami, the Japanese people will band together, do some completely crazy shit and make the whole world laugh out loud in unity once again.

So rather than show you images of death and destruction in Japan, we’re stepping back in time a little to show you what happens when you strap a pair of binoculars to your face and try to play soccer.

Only the Japanese could come up with something as hair-brained as this…
