Video of the Week – Amazing Footage of New Light Rail Project

Okay, you got me. This is most certainly not footage of the new light rail project. Rather, it’s some cracking old footage from the 1950s of the old tram routes down to Bondi and Bronte.

If they’re going to get the tram running down to the beach again one day it would want to be a damn sight more attractive than the old set-up.

Still, it’s always nice to see some old footage of our beachside suburbs and I’m sure it will bring back many good memories for the older Beast readers.
