Black markets Naidoc week
Naidoc day celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture across Australia and there’s no better place to do this in Sydney than at our Black markets on Bare Island, La Perouse on Sunday July 6.
Featuring an Aboriginal dance about how the Waratah became red, told by renowned storyteller Julie Freeman, the days also includes guest appearances from the Rabbitohs and Lois Peeler – First Hand Patron and original Sapphire as well as Weekends with Simon Marnie broadcasting live from the Island.
The Black markets feature authentic Aboriginal products from La Perouse to as far away as QLD
