Native Bee Workshop & Hive Split

Spring is back! Join Transition Bondi’s local bee experts Gavin Smith and Lance Lieber as they perform the amazing annual ritual of splitting the native bee hives to increase the population of local pollinators. This means there will be TWO new hives for sale to attendees. This workshop will teach everything you need to know about keeping native stingless bees at home or at work, and you will get a very rare opportunity to taste some of the sweet “sugarbag” (native honey) that these incredible creatures produce.
