Video of the Week – Chris Pyne Star Wars Parody

ABC Insider’s producer Huw Parkinson has put together a hilarious parody of education minister Christopher Pyne’s claims that he is “the fixer”.

The video uses the most memorable outtakes from Mr Pyne’s shit-talking on Sky News last week.

For those who haven’t seen/heard it, Mr Pyne assured everyone that by tinkering with the higher education proposals he had “fixed it” and that they would then pass the senate. They didn’t.

In the “Star Wars Fixed” spin-off, Mr Pyne assures the imperial round table that he’s fixed the problem of leaked Death Star plans.

And despite the reality that Mr Pyne didn’t really fix anything, Darth Vader has his back.

Hilarious shit, no? I think so.

In fact, so good is this parody that even Pyne himself tweeted about it, writing “I’m available for Star Wars VII if JJ Abrams wants to know…”
