Mike Cooper: Tropical Blues and Shadows
The living legend of the blues, lap-steel guitar, electro-improv and new exotica, Mike Cooper will perform one concert in the beautiful and mysterious Randwick Literary Institute, Saturday April 28th from 6 pm. As well as his eclectic concert repertoire and entertaining tales from the road, Mike will perform a live soundtrack to the 1928 silent film, ‘White Shadows in the South Seas’.
A central figure in UK blues and folk in the 70s, Cooper was a leader in the free improv movements in London and is still renowned for for his experimental sound and incredible skills as a slide guitarist.
