Australia Day: Walk, Beers & Bowls
FREE EVENT. A scenic, easy walk from the city, across the bridge and around the northern harbour foreshore, stopping at many vantage points to see the action on the water, we will trek up the north side of the harbour taking in views from Luna Park, Lavender Bay, McMahons’ Point, Sawmillers Reserve and Balls Head. We finish at the Waverton Bowling Club for drinks on their balcony overlooking the harbour at Berrys Bay. Join our crew for bowls, or enjoy the Jazz on the lawn with a few coldies. It’s an easy trip home from nearby Waverton train station. Start 11.00am. Distance; 7 kms. Grade; Easy.
