BRONTE HOUSE OPEN DAY WEEK END – Rain and heat are friends of the garden, and given that this year has been a wet one, The Bronte House Garden has thrived.The amazing growth from the Salvias, Tree Dahlias and purple Crinums in the Carriageway borders, are a triumph of form and texture.A short walk from the beautiful Bronte Beach, the house is the only example of early Victorian architecture in Sydney that faces the ocean and not the harbour’s shipping lane. Bronte House is only open a few days each year, giving garden enthusiasts and local residents an opportunity to wander through.
