Video of the Week – State of Origin Hits and Brawls

The second State of Origin fixture for 2013 takes place this Wednesday up in sunny old Brisbane so we thought we’d give you a Video of the Week that will hopefully get you pumped up and excited.

New South Wales lead the series 1-0 and they can wrap things up with a victory up at Suncorp, so tension is at an all-time high.

After the biff between Paul Gallen and Nate Myles in Game 1, the NRL has basically banned the throwing of punches in rugby league. As such, the video above may be the only pinch of pugilism you get this week.

The NRL also put an end to good solid shoulder charges recently so a lot of the big hits are now gone too, but this Video of the Week should also satiate your need for sightings of heavy contact.
