Local Favourite – Gordon

Gordon has lived in the Eastern Suburbs his whole life, currently in Maroubra, and gets the shakes when he gets close to Anzac Parade. He is the number one sales agent at Park Beachside Real Estate in Coogee and has a huge record of successful sales across the Eastern Suburbs. He prides himself on leaving his vendors smiling. Favourite Beach: Every beach in the East serves a purpose, i.e. Bondi to see old friends and get amongst it, Bronte for the family (something for everyone), Tama for interesting wildlife watching, Clovelly for the kids – a good snorkel or dive spot, Coogee for when you are feeling fragile – no waves, and Maroubra for the surf and to escape the crowds.

Eatery: Hurricane’s Bar and Grill in Bondi, Melonhead in Coogee for smoothies and juice, and Love Coogee for ice cream and cakes.

Weekend Activity: I can’t publish my real favourites here but taking my kids to the beach.

Watering Hole: Maroubra Bay Hotel – relaxed atmosphere to have a beer while the kids eat and play.

Favourite Thing About My Job: The amazing array of eclectic personalities I meet on an ongoing basis. It really makes life interesting.

Music: Most music, anything you can dance to.

Sporting Team: Bondi United Rugby League Football Club and the mighty St George Dragons.
