Local Favourite – Revi

By Dan Hutton on March 3, 2011 in People

Revi Kadoury lives in Dover Heights and has lived in this area since she was eleven. She is the owner and marketing and sales director of Primitive Stores, a wholesale and import business of arts and crafts from around the world. “My interest has always been to have a business that supports local artists independently of where they live and provide them with the opportunity to market their products worldwide”. Revi shares her local favourites with The Beast…

Favourite Beach: My favourite beach is my local, Bondi Beach. I spend a lot of time here especially in summer.

Eatery: My family and I love Thai Terrific. They have beautiful food and great prices and it’s perfect for a family outing.

Watering Hole: I’d have to say Icebergs. It’s such a beautiful location with a gorgeous menu and drinks selection, and you just can’t get past the views.

Sporting Team: The Roosters! Hoping for a good 2011.

Weekend Activity: Sleeping in, hanging with my kids, catching up with friends and hitting the local shops along Bondi Beach, and heading for a quick dip when it’s hot.

Quote: “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” – Franklin d. Roosevelt

Favourite Thing About Your Work: That I can do it from anywhere, and what better place to do it than Sydney’s beautiful Eastern Suburbs?!

Final Word: My business is sponsoring Australia’s first Brain Art Exhibition and Unconference, which will be held in Paddington in March. I am one of the sponsors for the artists’ awards – a brilliant initiative promoting young artists to display their talents and be exhibited in the heart of Sydney. Helping everyone to learn about their brains is a great idea for better living and for improving performance and relationships.
