Barley is a gentle, sweet-natured boy. He is social with other dogs, engages well with small children and is very affectionate with people generally.

He came from the pound in a most disgusting matted state, full of fleas, but he was incredibly patient while being clipped and bathed, and seemed to enjoy being pampered. He weighs 8.5 kilograms.
