Pachamama Festival

The cultural exports of Latin America will be showcased at this three-day festival that is part of Open Marrickville. Stories of cultural connections to the land will be explored through art, film, talks and workshops. All presented by The Sydney Latin American Film Festival (which is on in Sydney in September).
Recent documentaries will be screened including the critically acclaimed Humano, a film exploring of the origins of humanity in the Andes. Also screening is Icaros and Huicholes – The Last Peyote Guardians which explore ancient cultures and traditions.
