Derek Warfield is considered by many to be Ireland’s greatest living balladeer.

Derek fronted the legendary Wolfe Tones for nearly 40 years. With his new band, The Young Wolfe Tones, he ensures that the soul of Irish traditional music, honouring heroes and patriots, will never be forgotten.

In 2009, Derek Warfied & The Young Wolfe Tones were nominated as Ireland’s Best Traditional Folk Group. In 2010, the band toured over 180 concerts through six different countries. They are in Australia to promote their latest album ‘Far Away In Australia’.
