Books for Brains
Sadly, every year, 1 in 5 Australians suffers from a major brain or nervous system disorder such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and other dementias, autism and motor neurone disease.
This October is Books for Brains month and NeuRA is calling on all Australians to read and raise much-needed funds to continue research into some of the most devastating diseases of the brain and mind.
To become involved, all people need to do is read (anything!) and have their family, friends and co-workers sponsor them. People can start by setting up an online fundraising page at www.booksforbrains.com.au
