Pollinator Week Native Bees Workshop
On 15 November from 10am to 1pm, Transition Bondi will teach the community about the birds and the bees – mostly the bees – in a workshop focused on creating habitat for our buzzing local residents as well as butterflies, beetles, bats and other pollinators. Led by University of Sydney student bee researcher Ruby Stephens, the Bondi workshop will teach participants how to replicate a native stingless bee hive and build a take-home “bee hotel” out of wood, sticks and mud, perfect for attracting pollinators at home so they can continue to work their magic in the community.
