Shannon Noll – Thanks to the love of the Internet, Nollsie’s career is on the up and up. Next stop: Shannon represents Australia at Eurovision – fingers crossed!

Fixed Easter – The churches are chatting and a fixed date for Easter is allegedly less than a decade away. It’s only taken a couple of millennia…

Footy Season – Super Rugby, NRL and AFL will all be returning to footy fields and television screens very soon. Apologies in advance to the missus.

Lock Out Laws – Sydney is turning in to a ghost town before our eyes. Why not redress the normalisation of violence, or the culture of binge drinking?

The US Presidential Race – Democracy is awesome, but the correlation between political success and billions of dollars of private funding is not.

Rainbow-Coloured Hair – It looks whimsical and fun for about a week, until the regrowth comes back and you can’t afford any more colourful dye.

Bin Juice – Nothing is as disgusting as taking out the garbage bins and finding that a trail of bin juice has trickled over your feet and your clean carpet.

Air Niugini – They didn’t crash (bonus), but the damage they did to two surfboards would make you think that they did. F**k you baggage handlers!
