Royal Botanic Garden: Kokedama Workshop
Kokedama, literally translated from Japanese, means “moss ball”. The kokedama originated in Japan in the 1600’s and they were invented to allow Bonsais to live outside a pot. Kokedamas are now making a comeback in various forms, shapes and sizes and are used for varying plant types. Kokedamas are versatile and can be hung indoors or outdoors. In this workshop, you will be taken through all the steps to construct your very own succulent kokedamas.
