Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day 2016
Friday, 26 August is Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day, a national day of hope and an opportunity for Australians to show support for someone they know affected by cancer.
More than 650 sites will be in full swing across NSW, including Bondi Junction Mall, Bondi Junction Train Station and Spotlight Bondi Junction, encouraging people to buy a pin and give fresh daffodils to someone they know.
2016 marks 30 years of Daffodil Day in Australia. This year Cancer Council hopes to raise $2.6m in NSW and $6.7m nationally for cancer research, prevention, advocacy and support programs.
