Shibori, Indigo Tie Dye
Shibori is so on trend, the deep shades of indigo look gorgeous, whether on homewares or clothing, Shibori is a technique which is Japanese and entails binding, tying and clamping the fabric to achieve a beautiful pattern with relative ease. Therefore it is most suitable for beginners. You will be able to take your tea towels home on the night.
We will supply some sample fabric to trial beforehand.
Our teacher, Bettina is an experienced teacher and runs workshops from her studio in the Blue Mountains in all types of dyeing, but Shibori is her specialty.
