Join us for a delicious, plant-based, 3-course meal; meet like-minded people; and enjoy the confronting film Recipes for Disaster. Winner of the Green Cross Award, the film is about an Anglo-Finnish filmmaker who embarks on a journey to rid his life of oil and plastic, along with his reluctant wife and family. Tensions ensue, and John, the instigator, must find a balance between keeping the pledge and maintaining a happy home. After the documentary, Liz from facedownwaste.com will lead a discussion about how we can all reduce our dependence on oil and plastic.
