Native Stingless Beekeeping Workshop
Kick off Australian Polinator Week at the Transition Bondi Community Garden at 241 Bondi Road on Sunday, 12 November, for this special beekeeping workshop held from 2pm–4pm. Participants will learn all about Australian native stingless bees, from their behaviour and usefulness in the ecosystem to why they are so important to our survival as humans. Transition Bondi founder Lance Lieber — a passionate urban beekeeper who’s been teaching permaculture courses for seven years — will also teach you how to keep bees in your own backyard and how to split the hives.
