Festival of the Winds
The annual Festival of the Winds at Bondi is back. The event takes place on Sunday, September 11 from 11am to 4pm at the Bondi Pavilion and surrounding beach and parklands.
This family-friendly festival will see kites of all shapes, sizes and colours take to the air above Bondi Beach.
While international and national kite flyers will show off their skills, everyone is welcome to fly their own kite.
There will be several stalls set up in the park where you can buy or even make your own kite should you not have one already.
If you’re not into kite flying, there will be numerous activities and entertainment to enjoy. Dance, art and craft workshops, rides inside the courtyard and around the park, children’s shows and a host of musical performers mean there will be something for everyone on the day.
Better still, the popular Joel Salom will be back again to MC the main stage for another year.
The event is rounded out with a superb art exhibition and a vast array of multi-cultural food stalls to satisfy everyone’s hunger needs.
So for a great family day out look no further than the Festival of the Winds at Bondi on September 11.
