What happens in the world’s largest trash city will transform you. Filmed over three years, Waste Land follows renowned artist Vik Muniz as he journeys from his home base in Brooklyn and his native Brazil to the world’s largest garbage dump outside Rio de Janeiro.
There, Muniz collaborates with the people living amongst the garbage to create awe-inspiring artworks that break the conventional boundaries of photography.
