A NAIDOC dindal feast in Centennial Park
City of Sydney Youth Services in partnership with Centennial Parklands presents a traditional ‘Dindal’. A ‘Dindal’ is the traditional ceremonial practice of cooking underground in Mother Earth using hot rocks and natural resources. Sean Ryan is proud Kuku Nyunkal man from Far North Queensland and will guide us through this cultural experience to celebrate National NAIDOC Week 2013. Join us in a traditional ‘kunbal’ (celebration) of cross cultural exchange through food, performance and culture.
