Analogy – David Asher Brook
David Asher Brook’s paintings aim to achieve consistency of
weight across the canvas, creating movement and energy.
Beginning with figurative elements, David Asher Brook then
conceals these through pattern making. By subduing figures
within the painting, the work retains its narrative whilst becoming
more meditative and, from a distance, may seem almost
abstract. He also uses stop motion to create moving painted
films.
