Born in 1996, Baden Croft is a young emerging Australian artist who draws inspiration for his heavily textured oil paintings from the natural environment. Growing up on the coastal Mornington Peninsula, Baden’s artworks reflect his passion for surfing, the ocean and marine life. Travelling to exotic locations such as Morocco, Portugal, the Philippines and Samoa for surfing has been a source of inspiration for Baden’s work: “For me, the unpredictability of the ocean is a welcome escape…an inspiration for my art and life in general”
