Astronomy in the Park
Escape city light pollution and join local astrophysicists and astronomers at our annual stargazing event in the heart of Centennial Park.
Immerse yourself into a night of stargazing – Looking up we see the bright and the dark – one side will be explained by our scientists of the Sydney Observatory, the other by our aboriginal educator who will share his stories about the sky with us. One of our guides will show you the park’s secret in the dark.
At our telescope station, you will have the chance to observe the sky and ask our scientists about the phenomena you discover.
