Australia Quartet
Australia Quartet celebrates Halloween 2013 with a one-night-only concert on Thursday 31 October at Sydney Opera House. TRANSFIGURED NIGHT, Schoenberg’s gothic masterpiece anchors a remarkable program which includes a world premiere and performance by internationally renowned Australian composer, Elena Kats-Chernin.
In a unique collaboration, Kats-Chernin will perform alongside the Australia Quartet’s Tamara-Anna Cislowska in four hands at the piano, to transform and improvise her new arrangement of Scherzino (2013), written especially for the Australia Quartet.
