Botanical Art for Kids
Kids will unleash their creativity in this art-based holiday program at the Royal Botanic Garden. They’ll explore the colours and textures of the Garden’s beautiful plants. They’ll find out how botanical illustration is a vital part of plant science. They’ll use microscopes to look closely at plants and flowers, and use a variety of mediums including pastels and iPads to create botanical illustrations of their own.
