Bush Food Picnic
As the diet of the Aboriginal people changes with the seasons, so do our tour activities. Take a guided bush walk with Shared Knowledge to forage for seasonal native bush foods and medicines and discover their cultural uses.
You will discover how traditional bush foods are very important to the Aboriginal people, and sample foods found in Centennial Parklands during this 3 hour tour.
Learn about the traditional seasons and how they influence what is hunted and gathered. Taste traditional foods and flavours which could include kangaroo, emu, quandong, wattle, finger-lime and salt bush.
