Bush Food Picnic
During this three hour tour you will discover the importance of traditional bush foods to the Aboriginal people, and sample foods found in Centennial Parklands.
Learn about the traditional seasons and how they influence what is hunted and gathered. Taste traditional foods and flavours which, depending on the season, could include kangaroo, emu, quandong, wattle, finger-lime and salt bush.
The session will include: •A guided walk
•Passionate local guides
•Fresh morning and native brewed tea
•Encounter wildlife and learn their importance to Aboriginal people
