‘Chalk Your Support’ and welcome refugee

During this year’s Refugee Week (June 19 – 25) Australians from all walks of life will have the opportunity to express their support for refugees and asylum seekers hoping for resettlement in Australia.

‘Chalk your Support’, a new initiative taking place as part of Refugee Week, will see people across Australia take to their city’s paths and walkways to chalk, photograph and share their messages of support for refugees, encouraging all major political parties to adopt a more human and reasonable approach to solving the Manus Island and Nauru regional detention centre crisis.
