COCKATOO WINGTAG PROJECT
COCKATOO WINGTAG PROJECT
Joseph Maiden Theatre
Mon 22 June, 10.30am for 11am–12pm
Research is underway that involves
wing-tagging sulphur-crested cockatoos
within the Sydney region. The aim is to
monitor cockatoo movements, breeding
and habitat preferences. The public is
asked to report the tag number, colour and
location of the cockatoo either via an app
or to an email address, facebook or twitter.
Join Wildlife Ecologist, Dr John Martin, to
hear how the research is progressing.
