Danny in the Toybox

Thousands of children know Danny in the Toybox off by heart. Now young audiences have a chance to enjoy Danny live on stage when Marian Street Theatre for Young People present this hilarious adaptation by Richard Tulloch, one of Australia’s most popular writers of books, plays, films and television for children, live on stage from 11 May to 13 July 2013.

Danny is in trouble. Not only has he forgotten his Grandmother’s birthday present, he’s also been loudly telling everyone how wonderful his present will be. Danny doesn’t know what to do, so he hides in his toy box in his bedroom.
