DRIFT

‘Drift’ exhibition is an artistic response to the ocean in its many moods. Sisters Di Crisp and Jenny Gibney and Jenny’s daughter, Simone Gibney have collaborated to bring together their paintings in oil on canvas as well as a series of photographic images reflecting the sea, coastal life and even the contrasting urban feeling of Bondi. The work is dramatic and moody, mostly impressionistic and sometimes playful. It began as a coming together of the three women to paint, draw and photograph the coastline and developed into the concept for the exhibition.
