
Get Fit For Bats – The Big Bat Walk
Enjoy the twilight in Centennial Parklands and learn about one of our inhabitants. Join us for a 2km-twilight walk around Lachlan Swamp. Our rangers will talk to your groups about our bat colony – we will observe the beautiful fly-out of the fruit bats and we’ll listen for the echolocating calls of microbats as they hunt for bugs. If you are lucky you might not only see the beautiful bats but also our other nocturnal friends in the park.
