GM Awareness Evening

Ever wondered about Genetically Modified (“GM”) Foods? Whether you or your children are eating them without knowing it? Whether they are safe? What the impact of GM crops is on the environment?

Whatever your current level of knowledge, join us for an informative and fun event: “GM Awareness Evening with Costa” on Sunday, 3 July 2011, 6 pm, at the Chapel by the Sea, 95 Roscoe Street, Bondi Beach.

The lovely Costa from “Costa’s Garden Odyssey” on SBS, will guide us through a fun evening on a serious topic, consisting of the screening of the 2004 documentary “The Future of Food”, followed by a panel discussion with experts on the topic, namely Bob Phelps, Executive Director of Gene Ethics, Dr Luigi Palombi, biotech lawyer and author of “Gene Cartels”, and Frances Murrell of MADGE.
