Home Video : a photographic exhibition
Australian artist Katrina Lezaic presents a series of photographic stills from a 1970s family home video spanning the 7 years of her parent’s marriage. The original archival film features in the exhibition and depicts the layering of cultures experienced by a family of European migrants making the transition to a life in Australia. The stills have been chosen for their playful movement between factual documentary and contrived fiction.
