International Dawn Chorus Walk
First come the sounds of the Noisy Miner. Then the Pied Currawong, Magpie-Lark, Sulphur-crested Cockatoo and Crested Pigeon. This is the dawn chorus and if you’re up early enough you’ll hear the song of each bird species adding their voices to the chorus. Find out all about the original “Twitter” by joining expert birdwatcher Trevor Waller on this early morning guided tour to explore the sounds of the Parkland’s dawn chorus. International Dawn Chorus Day was first held at Moseley Bog in Birmingham, England in 1984, by the Urban Wildlife Trust.
