Intro to Script Writing: Shorts

Short films are everywhere, and making a film has never been easier — or has it? Everything starts and finishes with the quality of the script. A short drama needs to be crafted and shaped just as much as a feature film. Both forms need an exciting or intriguing premise. Both need compelling characters we want to watch.

This class will look at how to finally turn that idea of yours into a script, and give you the basic tools that every professional writer uses. If you’ve ever sat at Tropfest and thought, ‘I want my film up there next year’, this class is a great kickstart.
