Janice Liley: Hours of the Day

Art2Muse Gallery presents ‘Hours of the Day – Horis Diei‘ by Janice Liley. An exhibition of abstract paintings exploring remembered landscapes over different time periods of the day.

This suite of works was conceived while Janice was exploring the land of the Western MacDonnell Ranges at the beginning of 2018. The objective was to capture the unique light that prevails over the mountainous region, which changes from soft pastel hues of the early morning, to the bright savage reds of the midday, and back to defused pinks and greys of the setting sun.

The exhibition runs from 5 – 18 March2
