Jazz @ The Pav: Generations in Jazz

The Pav will be buzzing with a blend of brass and bold rhythms when the UNSW Jazz Orchestra and Advanced Ensemble play the music of Brazil and beyond.

The many traditions, colours, languages and religions of Brazil have given rise to one of the world’s richest musical cultures. This concert explores the vitality of samba, and other Afro-Brazilian dance rhythms, in settings for large and small jazz ensembles and will feature faculty staff Sandy Evans and Manolete Mora.
