Ludlites Love Nature: Apr 29-Jun 3
Ludlites are a group of Sydney based photographers the champion the use of lo-fi plastic cameras.
For their sixth annual group exhibition Ludlites Love Nature, they turn their plastic lenses to the natural world.
The cameras – the Holga and the Diana – have been around since the mid-1960’s and use film to create photographs that are stylistically unique and often quite dreamy and mysterious.
From Manet-inspired landscape to multi-image collages, from pinhole tree-scapes to a metre-long panorama constructed of up to 50 exposures on a single roll!
It’s on at the Superintendents Residence (just inside Paddington Gates) in Centennial Park.
