In June, ATYP jumps the tracks and takes a walk on the very wild side with Oedipus Doesn’t Live Here Anymore by Daniel Evans, winner of the 2014 QLD Premier’s Drama Award 2014-15 and directed by ATYP Artistic Director Fraser Corfield (Sugarland, A Town Named War Boy).

Moving at breakneck speed with a sense of humour blacker than the screen of a dead iPhone, Oedipus Doesn’t Live Here Anymore is a wild new work smashing together Greek myth and suburban horror. The collateral damage reveals a new mythology – one more terrifying than its ancient predecessor: our own.
