Omega Ensemble: Three Parts Mozart
Mozart is served three ways in this alluring feast of classical treats. Bassoonist Ben Hoadley brings Mozart’s earliest wind concerto to life, delivering the fresh and engaging character sketch with aplomb. The composer’s last instrumental work – the much-loved Clarinet Concerto – is subtler but no less eloquent. Under the direction of renowned clarinetist Paul Meyer, the delicate interplay between the soloist and the Ensemble gives rise to a performance that is all the more beautiful for its graceful sensitivity.
