Rare Chinese Teas: Pu’er, Taste & Story
Pu’er tea is the origin of all tea in the world. In this workshop you will not only be tasting some of China’s rarest Pu’er teas, from tea cakes as old as 18 years, we will also highlight the spectacular places and people behind the long steeped tradition of growing and producing these exotic teas. Once a long forgotten commodity traded with Europe via the trading caravans taking tea from the Southern borders of China to the central axis of Xian or the start of the Silk Road, this tea has largely linked and shaped the cultures of the people whom it touches.
