Riverside Theatres presents Bijou
Riverside Theatres is bringing Chrissie Shaw’s 2013 Canberra Critic’s Circle Award-winning show Bijou – A Cabaret of Secrets and Seductions to Parramatta on 8th November (3pm and 7pm).
Based on the true story of Parisian courtesan Madam Bijou, award-winning theatre veteran Shaw will transport Riverside’s intimate Rafferty’s Theatre into a 1933 Parisian café-bar with music by Satie, Hollander, Weill, Bruant and more.
Through seductions, wars, betrayal and loss, Madame Bijou survives by constantly reinventing herself.
Giving a rare glimpse into the private and sensual world of an ageing court
